Becomes on-air contributor for CNBC, regular cast member on Fast Money, founding cast member on The Halftime Report, meets and hires his future partners, Michael Batnick and Kris Venne, publishes first book “Backstage Wall Street” with McGraw Hill

Launches Ritholtz Wealth Management with $60 million in assets under management, no employees, bootstrapped with $50,000 in startup capital

2014

Releases second book, “Clash of the Financial Pundits”, with co-author Jeff Macke, published by McGraw-Hill, Ritholtz Wealth Management crosses $100 million in assets under management

2015

Makes the Investment News 40 Under 40 list

2016

Crosses one million followers on Twitter, co-creates the inaugural Evidence-Based Investing Conference in Manhattan, New York

2017

Launches the Evidence-Based Investing West conference in Dana Point, California, Ritholtz Wealth Management crosses $500 million in assets under management

2018

Launches The Compound YouTube Channel, signs office lease for Ritholtz Wealth Management’s new headquarters - aka “The Compound”- at Bryant Park in New York City, becomes technical advisor and script editor to Showtime’s “Billions” TV show

2019

Co-creates and launches inaugural Wealth/Stack Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, Ritholtz Wealth Management crosses $1 billion in assets under management

2020

Quits Twitter, Facebook and giving interviews to the press to focus on building the most respected wealth management firm in America, releases third book “How I Invest My Money” with co-author Brian Portnoy, published by Harriman House
